CCR1969029RESOLUTION 829-69
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF BURROUGHS BOOKKEEPING MACHINE
WHEREAS for the past eleven months the City of Muskego has been
leasing a Model F1433 Burroughs Sensimatic Bookkeeping Machine at
a cost to the city of $219.00 per month, and
WHEREAS, effective April 1, 1969, the rental cost of said machine
would be increased to $231.00 per month, and
WHEREAS, the original purcha-se price of the machine had been $6,651.60
and the rental paid thus far in the amount of $1,565.85 would apply
to the purchase price of the machine, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Finance Committee that the
City Clerk be authorized to negotiate for the purchase of said
machine,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter
Sensimatic Bookkeeping Machine at a cost not to exceed $5,085.75.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amount be taken from Acct. #292,
Unappropriated Surplus.
