AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A CULVERT STEAM
CLEANER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego had authorized the
Public Works Committee to advertise for bids for a new culvert steam
cleaner for the Highway Department, and
WHEREAS, the only bid received for this equipment was from Aring
Equipment Co., Inc., Butler, Wisconsin,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the bid from Aring Equipment Co., Inc.
for a Trailer Mounted Malsbary Muni-Cleaner - Model 250 OMMC with
a 7 HP Kohler Engine and with all equipment as specified by the
City of Muskego at a total cost of $3,643.00 minus $220.00 allowed
for trade-in of 1950 Model DS2 Cleaver Brooks Tank Car Heater, net
exchange to be $3,423.00.
