CCR1969000salaries are for the calendar year lYh9 reLroactive to January 1, 1969, and apply to the year of service in the rank described. It is understood between the uarties that the salaries designated for the year of service are e subject to negotiation. First year employees whose anniversary date occurs before .July 1 shall be entitled to a salary increase in accordance with the salary schedule set forth above on the fol- lowing January 1 even though such employee may have completed less than 12 months of actual service. The intent of the parties under this article is to have all sal- aries after the first year of service commence as of January 1 of each year and to apply an equitable formula for placing first year employees on a calendar basis rather than an anniversary date schedule. ARTIC ILL IV. DISPATCHERS STATUS. Both parties recognize that the employer disputes the rizht OF the Association to represent dispatchers and other a civilian employees. l'he incorporation of the salaries and fringe benefits for dispatchers in this contract does not constitute a waiver of the right of the employer to challenge this representation. e ARTICLE V. WISCONSIN RETIREMENT FUND. Of the total contributions to the Wisconsin Retirement Fund required of both the City and the employee, the employee will pay an amount equal to 2.15 per cent thereof. In the event it is found to be mlawful for the City to assume an additional portion of the employee's contribution to the fund in the same year in which a resolu- tion is passed 3r contract signed by the City authorizing such assumption, the City shall make monthly payments during 1969 in cash of the difference between the amount of the 2.75 per cent contribution by the employee and the actual amount that the employee would have been required to contribute for 1969 but for the ineEfectiveness of the resolution authorizing such additional assumption on the part of the City. ARTICLE VI. LIFE INSURANCE. The City will obtain a term group life policy covering all Department personnel eligible therefor in the principal sum of $5,000.00, the cost thereof shall be paid by the City. HEALTH INSURANCE. The City will continue the present hospital and surgical insurance plan now in effect, the cost thereof shall be paid by the City. RESOLUTION #27-69 AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ENLARGEMENT OF SEWAGE STABILIZATION POND IN DISTRICT. #l @ WHEREAS the present sewage stabilization pond has a capacity of 815 residential units or the equivalent capacity, and WHEREAS studies are underway to extend sewers around the remaining perimeter of Little Muskego Lake, and WHEREAS this area will far exceed the capacity of the present ponds as they exist, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the enlargement of the present sewage stabilization pond in District #l. - PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS DAY OF 9 1969. 1 ATTEST: 0
