CCR1968208-1970PERSONS SERVED BY THE TESS CORNERS RESCUE SQUAD
AUTHORIZING A SERVICE FEE OF $25.00 FOR
WHEREAS, the Tess Corners Rescue Squad furnished
emergency service to persons requesting the same and the expense
of said service is billed to the City at the rate of $35.00
per call and the cost of the service has been increasing and
is expected to increase; and
WHEREAS, the City has the authority to do so;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That from and after the 1st day of March, 1970,
the City of Muskego shall charge the sum of $25.00
for the use of the Tess Corners Rescue Squad
or first aid to the person requiring the same. Service, including the administering of oxygen
That said charge shall be made to each adult for
said service and to the parent of each minor
child receiving service.
That the billing procedures required to implement
this rescue service shall be formalized by the
Finance Committee in cooperation with the Tess
Corners Rescue Squad and reported back to the
Common Council.
That in the event any person receiving said service
or responsible for said service, may own real
estate in the City and a charge for said service
remains outstanding on October 15 of each year,
the City shall follow the procedure set forth in
Sec. 66.069 of the State Statutes for notice to
said person of said charge for obtaining a lien
on the real estate of said person for said charge
exclusive of penalities and for inserting said
sum as a tax against the real estate owned.
