AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF APPRAISAL
CONTRACT WITH GREAT LAKES APPRAISAL CORP.
BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment to the Great Lakes
Appraisal Corporation contract attached hereto is approved,
and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute same
on behalf of the City.

AMENDMENT TO APPRAISAL CONTRACT
IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the parties that the
appraisal contract approved by the Common Council on the 12th day
of November, 1968, pursuant to Resolution #195-68 shall be amended
as fol lows:
PARAGRAPH 15: Consideration of the services to be rendered and
other terms of this contract and in connection with the revaluation
of the improved residential, agricultural, mercantile and manufac-
turing and unimproved parcels, the City agrees to pay to the Com-
pany the sum of Thirty-one Thousand ($31,000.00) Dollars as follows:
Upon commencement of services prior to January e I, 1969, the City will pay to the Company, for the
first four (4) months thereafter, the sum of Three
Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars per month, and for the
next four (4) months thereafter, the sum of Four
Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars per month, with the
balance due and payable upon completion of the
appraisals. From each payment due the City shall
retain five (5%) per cent retainage until all
appraisals are completed. Upon payment of the
five (5%) per cent retainage, Great Lakes shall
post an appearance guarantee in the amount of One
Thousand ($l,OOO.OO) Dollars, guaranteeing appearances
and services at the City Board of Review sessions and/
or Courts. All payments shall be made to Great Lakes
Appraisal Corp., 8500 West Keefe Avenue, Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.

PARAGRAPH 16: Commencement of the work under this contract shall
begin within sixty (60) days after execution hereof and the company 0 shal I complete a I I work on or about October 25, 1969. In the event
of unforseen circumstances which delay the work, an extended date
shall be mutually agreed upon by the parties.
PARAGRAPH 18: The City Assessor shall perform the following
functions: Compile crop reports, de+A izkcs, final report, personal
property summary sheet and value change notices. The City Assessor
shall sign all forms and data required by him by law to be signed.
