RESOLUTIOP AUTHORIZING THE PIXPAYMENT OF
SPECIAL .4SSESSKEEMTS .IN FULL IN DISTRICT

HEREAS, AS, by Xesolution 9-61' the Common Council provided
th9.t the specisl rssessments levied. in District No. 3 shoulc! be
peid. in ten (10) equal instellments together vith interest there-
on at the rrte of six per cent (6%) per 2nnum from April 1, 196:;

WEm.AS, said resolution ~lso provi?ed 2s follows:
"In all cases where the owners of property agrinst
whom ?ssessments shall be mrde shall file with the City
Clerk within thirty (30) days from the date of the zfore-
sgid notice e written notice that they elect to pay
the special assessments upon their property on or be-
fore November l, 19W9 special assessments pey2.ble in
installments shall not be made PgPinst spid property
of such owners snd such owners shall pay the entire
assessment in full."
I* After the time for mrkinz such election shall hme
expired, such a.ssessment shall be due and payqble in
installments as aforesaid, but any assessment may be
pa.id in full before due only upon the payment of
interest to date of prepryment upon such a.ssessment,
plus one year's interest on the then unpaid principal
amount of such assessment.'
P'HEWAS, the time for filing the election referred to
has expired, but wrious persons have expressed a desire to make
payment of said assessments in full before November 1, 1962.
NOV, THEREIEPOFS, BE IT RESOLVED that:
(a) Those persons who shall pay their assessments in
full prior to November 1, 19U, shall be chprsed no
interest thereon.
BE IT FURTHER XSOLVED that the Clerk shall send a
