CCR1968148RESOLUTION # ELB DIRECTING NOTICE OF RECONSIDERATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #2 WHEREAS, this Common Council has determined to reopen and reconsider certain special assessments, and it is necessary to notice the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall give notice of such resolution in the form attached hereto as Exhibit “A” by publishing the same in the TRI-TOWN HUB, the official city newspaper which has a general circulation in the city, and in the assessment district referred to therein, and is hereby found to be likely to give notice to the persons affected thereby, and by mailing a copy of the same to every interested person whose post office address is known or can be with reasonable diligence ascertained. Dated this /3 day of ”- , 1968. 4 n ATTEST: City Clerk / I NOTICE OF HEARING TO RECONSIDER SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Common Council of the City of Muskego will hold a public hearing at the City Hall, W180 S7732 Racine Avenue, Muskego, Wisconsin, at 7:15 o'clock P.M. on the 9th day of September ,1968, to consider the following resolution: a "TO RECONSIDER AND AMEND RESOLUTION 1/18-67 LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR SIDEWALKS , DRIVEWAY APPRDACHES , CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND STORM SEWER a WHEREAS, Resolution 1/18-67 adopted on the 28th day of February, 1967, by the Common Council, levied special assessments for the Installation of sidewalks, driveway approaches, concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer in Special Assessment District 1/2 described as follows: to-wit: All that part of Section 9, Town 5 North, Range 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, described as follows: All that land abutting C.T.H. "Yll (Racine Avenue) from S.T.H. "24" to a point approximately 1750 feet South of S.T.H. "24"; and WHEREAS, the schedule of assessments contained in the report of the City Engineer were tentative assessments, and it was the intention of the Common Council to levy special a assessments against each parcel as follows: Sidewalks - 100 per cent of Cost ~. Driveway approaches - 100 per cent of cost Concrete curb and gutter - 25 per cent of cost Storm sewer - no charge; and WHEREAS, the schedule of final assessments for said District #2 relating to the above improvements has been received, and the final schedule of assessments is in some cases lower, and in some cases higher than the tentative schedule of assessments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council does hereby determine to reopen and reconsider said assessments for the purpose of amending said final assessments to con- form to the schedule of final assessments as received from the City Engineer and on file with the City Clerk. 0 Dated this 13th day of August, 1968 Donald E.
