TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS
TO POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT 520-0491
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Police and Fire
Commission that they be authorized to retain the Bureau
Wisconsin, to provide technical assistance to the City
of Personnel, Department of Administration, State of
in the hiring of additional Police Department personnel,
for the year 1969,
WREREAS, no monies for Police recruiting has been
provided for in the 1968 Police Department Budget,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that said service will
cost approximately $2,000.00,
WHEREAS, there presently exists a deficit of $471.00 in
Account 520-0491,
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that $2,500.00
be transferred from Unappropriated Surplus to Police
Department Account 520-0491 to take care of both recruiting
service and account deficit,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that $2,500 .00 be transferred
Account 520-0491.
