ACCEPTING BID OF PAYNE & DOLAN TO APPLY
ASPHALT ON WOODS ROAD, TESS CORNERS ROAD AND THE
MUSKEG0 POLICE AND FIRE DEPT. LOTS
WHEREAS the Public Works Committee had been authorized to advertise
for bids for the application of a 1 3/4" asphalt binder coat to
be applied on Woods Road from Racine Avenue west to S.T.H. 24 during
the yea.r 1968 and a final 1 1/4" coat of asphalt to be applied
during the year 1969, and
WHEREAS the Public Works Committee had also recommended that a
blacktop mat be installed on Tess Corners Road from S.T.H. 24
southeast to the bridge in order to establish the desired grade
and to install bla,cktop on the Muskego Police and Fire Department
lots, and
WHEREAS the following single bid was received:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the bid of $6.25 per ton from Payne &
Dolan for the application of a 1 3/4" asphalt binder coat to be
applied on Woods Road from Racine Ave. west to S.T.H. 24 during
the year 1968 and a final 1 1/4" coat of asphalt to be applied
during the year 1969, and to install a blacktop mat on Tess
Corners Road from S.T.H. 24 southeast to the bridge and to install
blacktop on the Muskego Police and Fire Department lots.
