RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE ESTABLISHED ASSESSMENT POLICIES
OF THE SEWER PROJECTS MSS-1-67 THRU MSS-1-67
AND MSS-1-68 THRU MSS-5-68
WHEREAS the continuation of municipal sewer development in the City of
Muskego is dependent upon the Common Council finalizing several policies
which can be used as a guide, and
WHEREAS the City Engineer must be advised of the wishes of the Council
in respect to methods of determining sewer assessment before he can con-
tinut his studies of other areas to be served, and
WHEREAS the Common Council has been advised by its special legal
advisors that the method used in computing sewer assessments in Projects
MSS-1-67 thru MSS-3-67 and MSS-1-68 thru MSS-5-68 is proper, and
WHEREAS it is imperative that assessment policies be finalized in order
that the taxpayers involved in Projects MSS-1-67 thru MSS-3-67 (Racine
Avenue) have adequate time to determine the method they intend to use
in paying this assessment,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby reaffirm the procedures used by the City Engineer in
computing sewer assessments for Projects MSS-1-67 thru MSS-3-67 and
MSS-1-68 thru MSS-5-68.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Engineer is directed to use this sewer
assessment procedure in his preparation of the North East and North West
Sewer Projects.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be sent
to the City Engineer.
