APPROVAL OF THE CITY PARTICIPATING IN
COLLEGE AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION
e WHEREAS the County Highway Committee has developed a
reconstruction program for College Avenue from newly
relocated Racine Avenue to a point east of Lentini Drive,
and
WHEREAS they have asked that the City of Muskego absorb
a portion of the cost in the amount estimated to be between
$22,000.00 and $25,000.00 plus the cost of acquiring the
necessary easements and land, and
WHEREAS the Public Works Committee has recommended that
it would be in the best interest of the City to join the
County in the project,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby agree to share in the cost
of the reconstruction of College Avenue,
BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is based on the
estimated costs of $22,000.00 to $25,000.00 plus the cost
of acquiring easements and right-of-ways.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be sent to the Waukesha County Highway Commission and the
Wisconsin State Highway Commission.
