CCR1968041RESOLUTION # .41-68 NORTHEAST ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PRELIMINARY RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO EXERCISE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT POWERS UNDER SECTION 66.60. WISCONSIN STATUTES of 1965. -~ ~ ~ at* RESOLVED by the Comon Council of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin: 'a 1. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to exercise its power under Section 66.60, Wisconsin Statutes, for the following municipal purpose and to levy special assessments upon property within the following described area for special benefits conferred upon such property by reason of the improvement thereof by installation of sanitary sewer pipes in the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, said area to be known as "Northeast Assessment District": All platted and unplatted lands in Section 1 and 2, the East one-half of Section 3, the East one-half of Section 10, all of Section 11 and Section 12; the aforementioned Sections being in Town 5 North, Range 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. 2. The total amount assessed against such district shall not @ having an average depth of 10 feet. The Common Council determines exceed the average cost of installation of an 8 inch sanitary sewer that such improvements shall be made under the police power and a schedule of the proposed assessments is attached and marked "Exhibit A." 3. The assessments against any parcel may be paid in cash or in ten (10) annual installments, or within the time prescribed as will be determined at the public hearing on the proposed assessment.. 4. The City Engineer is directed to prepare a report consisting of: (a) Final plans and specifications for said improvements. (b) An estimate of the entire cost of the proposed work or improvement. (c) Schedule of proposed assessments. 0 Upon completing such report the City Engineer is directed to file a copy thereof in the City Clerk's office for public inspection. 6. Upon receiving the report of the City Engineer, the Clerk is directed to give a Class I notice of a public hearing on such report as specified in Section 66.60 (7), Wisconsin Statutes. The hearing shall be held at the Council chambers in the City Hall at a time set by the Clerk in accordance with Section 66.60 (7), Wisconsin Statutes. PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE
