APPROVAL OF AN AMENIMENT TO THE WOODS ROAD
BRIDGE CONTRACT
WHEREAS Resolution #20-68, adopted by the Common Council on February 13,
1968, accepted the bid of Linnan Construction Company for the recon-
struction of the Woods Road bridge, and * WHEREAS the city’s engineers have reported that the specifications
calling for 30 foot pilings proved to be inadequate and have recommend-
ed that they be replaced with 45 foot pilings, and
WHEREAS the total additional cost to the city for the change in
specifications will amount to $3,500.00, and
WHEREAS the Public Works Committee has recommended that it is in
the best interest of the city and the safety of the traveling public
to accept the recommendations of the city’s engineering firm,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve of Change Order #3 on the project known
as Muskego Creek Bridge,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby approve of the expenditures of an additional $3,500.00
for the purpose of installing 45 foot pilings rather than the 30 foot
pilings asked for in the specifications,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authoriz,ed to sign the
Change Order in the name of the city.
