ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SEWRPC FOR THE
PREPARATION OF TAX BILLS BY IBM
WHEREAS the City Treasurer and the City Clerk-Comptroller has advised
that the increasing number of tax bills and the late date which the
final budget figures are available makes it extremely difficult to
get the tax bills to the taxpayers of the City as quickly as they
would like them, and

WHEREAS the SEWRPC, in cooperation with the County Treasurer's Office,
is able to prepare the entire tax roll and the tax bills by IBM at a
cost not to exceed $2,000.00, and
WHEREAS the Finance Committee has recommended that in the interest
of reducing the possibilities of errors and serving the taxpayers
of the City more efficiently that the City enter into an agreement with
SEWRPC,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby authorize the Finance Committee to enter into an agreement
with SEWRPC for the preparation of the City of Muskego's tax roll and
tax bills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary documents a.fter approval by the City Attorney.
