AUTHORIZING THE ELECTRIC COMPANY TD
INSTALL LIGHTS
WHEREAS the Public Safety Committee has been reviewing the need for
a street lighting program in the City of Muskego for the past several
months, and
district in order that a city wide street lighting program could
WHEREAS the Common Council vacated an existing street lighting
be inaugaurated, and
WHEREAS the Common Council has already authorized the installation
of street lights from Highway 24 south on Racine Avenue to the
'Electric Company right-of-way, and
WHEREAS the Public Safety Committee has recommended that the following
additional lights be approved:
(1) 43 lights on Highway 24 from the west intersection of
Highway 24 and Racine Avenue to a point approximately 200
feet east of the intersection of Highway 24 and Lannon Dr.
(2) 14 lights on Highway 24 from a point approximately 200 feet
west of Durham Drive to approximately 200 feet east of Tess
Comers Drive. e
(3) That the intersections as shown on the attached sheet be
lighted.
(4) That a minimum of 5 lights be placed along Highway "00" in
the vicinity of Highway 36.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve the installation of the street lights
indicated in the Application for Permit for Highway Lighting
Installation, specifically on Highway 24 from the west intersection
of Racine Avenue and Highway 24 to a point approximately 200 feet
east of the intersection of Lannon Dr. and Highway 24, on Highway 24 .'
from a point approximately 200 feet west of Durham Drive to approx-
imately 200 feet east of Tess Comers Dr., the lighting of Highway "00"
in the vicinity of Highway 36 and the lighting of the intersections
and areas as shown on the attached sheet which is made part of this
1 resolution by reference.
! BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
I to execute the necessary documents in the name of the City.
