e WHEREAS, there presently exists a shortage of space in the City
Hall which will become greater in the next few years and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to begin planning for the construction
of a City Hall as quickly as possible in order to have a building
available within approximately two years and
WHEREAS, the Common Council has authorized the taking of options
of possible Civic Center S ites and
WHEREAS, it would help other departments of the City in their
planning to know a new City Hall is contemplated a
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego recognizing the need for a committment on plans to
construct a new City Hall, does hereby go on record indicating
a desire to proceed with the purchase for the necessary lands
and the construction of a new City Hall as soon as possible,
hopefully withirVtwo years.
