AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF OPTIONS FOR
AS AMENDED
INDUSTRIAL LANDS
WHEREAS the development of and industrial park will help stabilize
Muskego's tax base, and
WHEREAS an industrila park, developed by the City, appears to be
the most logical way to proceed.
WHEREAS there has been established an Induatrial Development
Committee as part of the Workable Program which could aid the
City in acquiring industrial land and tenants, and
WHEREAS to protect the City from inflated land costs a real
estate agent should be employed to take option on several parcels
of land which could be used for the development of an industrial
a Park,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the Finance Committee to contact real
estate agents to aid in the acquisition of lands for industrial
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Committee is hereby authori-
zed to expend up to $500.00 for the necessary option and directed to
report their findings and recommendations back to the Council.
