AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF OPTIONS FOR
INDUSTRIAL LANDS
a WHEREAS the development of an industrial park will help stpbilize
Muskego's tax base, and
WHEREAS an industrial park, developed by the City, appears to
be the most logical way to procee6.
WHEREAS there has been established an Industrip1 Development
Committee as part of the Workable Progr;lm which could aid the
City in acquiring industrial lrnd and tenants, and
WHEREAS to Ppotect the City from inflated land costs a re?.l
esta.te agent should be employed to take option on several
parcels of drhnd which could be used for the development of an
industrial park,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby a.uthorize the Muskego Development Committee
a.nd the Finance Committee to hiae a rerl estate agent to 2id
in the aquisition of lands for industrial purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESULVED that they are hereby authorized to expend
up to $500.00 for the necessary option and directed to report
their findings 2nd recommendations ba.ck to the Council.
