AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO ASK FOR BIDS FOR
A RETIREMENT PROGRAM FOR FULL-TIME CITY EMPLOYEES
Whereas, the Public Works Committee has investigated the possibility
of developing a Retirement Program for full-time employees of the
City of Muskego and
Whereas, preliminary discussions with members of the highway de-
partment have indicated a majority of these employees are interested
in such a program and
Whereas, it is necessary to receive bids from several insurance
companies in order to determine the total cost of such a program and
Whereas, the Public Works Committee would like this resolution to
indicate the approval of the Council for such a program
Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby show interest in the establishment of a Retire-
ment Program for all full-time employees of the City of Muskego
Be It Further Resolved that the Public Works Committee is hereby
authorized to contact several insurance companies in order that a
firm cost of the program can be established
Be It Further Resolved that their findings shall be submitted to
the Finance Committee and to the Common Council for final action.
