AS AMENDED a
e AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO
ADVERTISE FOR A CENTRAL COMMUNICATION
SYSTEM
WHEREAS the possibilities of establishing a central communication
system in the City of Muskego has been evaluated, and
- WHEREAS such a system would provide around the clock dispatching
service for the Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works
Department and emergency rescue service, and
WHEREAS such a system would be a necessity within the next two
years because of present demands on the Waukesha County Sheriff
Department's communication system, and
WHEREAS the Public Safety Committee has recommended that bids
for such a system be advertised for,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the Muskego Police Department to
advertise for bids for a central communication system
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Committee be granted the
power to accept the bid most advantageous and that the Clerk and
Mayor be authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name
of the City.
