AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE COMMITTEE TO TAKE
OPTION ON POTENTIAL CIVIC CENTER
SITE
WHEREAS it is becoming increasingly evident that the City of Muskego
will need a new city hall within the next few years, and
WHEREAS several potential sites have been discussed by the Citizens
Civic Center Committee, the Finance Committee and the Plan Commission,
and
a
WHEREAS the Finance Committee has recommended tha.t options be taken
on the several site possibilities in order that the Council and the
Plan Commission can decide on the site they feel best, and
WHEREAS the taking of the options could prevent the inflation of
land costs,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the Finance Committee to spend up
to a total of $500.00 for options on land to be considered for a
city hall site.
