ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR WOODS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION

WHEREAS the Public Works Committee of the Common Council has been
authorized to advertise for bids for the reconstruction of Woods
Road from Racine Avenue west to Highway 24, and
WHEREAS the following bids have been received:
Don DeBack
Wolf Construction Co.
S toehr Grading
Stack Construction Co.
$32,090.00
41,375.80
44,182.00
45,400.00
(The above bids exclude unclassified road excavation,
storm sewer construction and the removing and replacing
of fencing )
and
WHEREAS, the Engineer of the City of Muskego and the Public
Works Committee have recommended that the bid be awarded to a Don DeBack,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby award the bid for the reconstruction of
Woods Road from Racine Avenue west to Highway 24 to Don DeBack
for $32,090.00, plus the additional costs of unclassified road
excavation, storm sewers and the removing and replacing of
fencing where deemed necessary,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and Mayor are hereby
authorized to sign the contract in the name of the City of Muskego.
