AUTHORIZING THE PLACING OF BUOYS ON LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE
WHEREAS the Administrative Code of the State Conservation
Department requires municipal approval before any buoys can be
placed on navigable waters for racing purposes, and
WHEREAS the Muskego Yacht Club has requested permission to
race on Little Muskego Lake each Sunday and to place buoys
for this purpose, and
WHEREAS the Public Safety Committee has recommended to the
Common Council that the request be granted,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
hold sail boat races on Little Muskego Lake and to place
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Muskego Yacht Club to
buoys upon the waters for racing purposes,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
shall be sent to the State Conservation Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the permission be granted for
Sundays only and it shall be required that the buoys be
removed immediately following the races.
