CCR1967028RESOLUTION 1/28-67 ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF FRANCIS HENNEBERRY TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LANDS IN SEC. 17 0 WHEREAS the City of Muskego has purchased approximately eight acres from Elsie Spitzner for the purpose of reconstructing a portion of Woods Road in Section 17, and WHEREAS the following described 1and.is adjacent to lands owned by Francis Henneberry: e All that part of the Southwest % of Section 17, Town 5 North, Range 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest comer of a parcel of land described in Volume 1055, page 74, Document 666106 of Deeds, thence North, along the West line of said parcel 24.75 feet to the North Right-of-way line of existing Woods Road; thence Easterly, Northerly and Easterly, along said North Right-of-way line, to the Northwest corner of a parcel of land described in Volume 563, page 572, document No. 458057 of Deeds; thence South 11O20' West, perpendicular to the Northerly Right-of-way line of relocated Woods Road, 180.00 feet, more or less, to said Northerly Right-of-way line, thence North 78O40' West, along said Northerly Right-of-way line, 430 feet, more or less, to the P.C. of a curve; thence Northwesterly, along the arc of said curve, radius of 455.13 feet, to the extension of the West line of the aforesaid parcel described in Volume 1055, page 74, Document No. 666106 of Deeds; thence North along said West line extension, to the place of beginning, containing 1.45 acres, more or less. and, WHEREAS Francis Henneberry has offered to purchase the land for the sum of $600.00, and WHEREAS the Public Works Committee has recommended that this offer be accepted, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby accept the offer of Francis Henneberry to purchase the above described lands for the sum of $600.00, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to prepare the necessary documents and that the Mayor and City Clerk is hereby authorized to execute said documents in the name of the City.
