JOINING THE BUILDi%SPECTOR'S ASSOCIATION -
SOUTHEASTERN REGION
0 WHEREAS a unified building code has been prepared through the
efforts of the Conference of Municipal Government Executives
Organization, and
WHEREAS municipalities in the Milwaukee-Waukesha Metropolitan
Area have been asked to contribute $100.00 to help offset the
cost of preparing the unified building code, and
WHEREAS all contributing municipalities will receive ten copies
of the recently completed code to aid them in evaluating it
prior to consideration for adoption, and
WHEREAS the organization known as the Building Inspectors
Association-Southeastem Region has been formed for the purpose
of periodic review of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Uniform Building
Code having an annual membership fee of $18.00, and
WHEREAS the Public Safety Committee has recommended that the City
the unified code and has further recommended that the City of
Muskego join the Building Inspectors Association-Southeastem
Region,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the expenditure of $100.00 as its
share of the cost for the preparation of the Milwaukee Metropolitan
Uniform Building Code,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building Inspector is authorized
to join the organization known as the Building Inspectors Association-
Southeastern Region at an annual membership fee of $18.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk-Comptroller is authorized
to transfer $118.00 from the General Fund to Code $406, League Dues.
