AS AMENDED
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE TO
INVESTIGATE LAND PURCHASES FOR SEWERS
WHEREAS the Common Council, by resolution, authorized the Public
Sewer Committee to have the City Engineer prepare a report on
sanitary sewer requirements for part of the northeast corner of
the City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS such a report has been prepared and filed with the City
part of the City of Muskego, and
indicating the feasibility of developing sewers in the northeast
WHEREAS said report sets forth the need for a tertiary treatment
plant as suggested by the State Board of Health and the Metropolitan
Sewerage Committee, and
WHEREAS it would be advisable to have the Sewer Committee investigate
the possibilities of purchasing land for the development of said
sewerage treatment plant and to contact the necessary officials to

determine their feelings on the matter.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, recognizing the need for the development of sewers in
the northeastern part of the City of Muskego, does hereby authorize
the Public Sewer Committee to contact officials of the City of
Wisconsin as to the feasibility of the project and authorize the
Franklin, City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and the State of
Sewer Committee and Finance Committee to investigate the possible
purchase of lands necessary for the development of the sewer treat-
ment plant.
