AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE LANDS IN SECTION 17
FOR ROAD PURPOSES
WHEREAS the City of Muskego plans to reconstruct Woods Road from
Racine Avenue west to Highway 24, and e WHEREAS it is necessary to purchase approximately eight acres
of land from Mrs. Elsie Spitzner in order that the project can
be completed as economically as possible and a dangerous curve
eliminated, and
WHEREAS Mrs. Elsie Spitzner has agreed to sell the needed land
for $3,000.00 with the understanding that the City will pay for
legal fees and survey costs, and
WHEREAS the Public Works Committee has recommended that the City
purchase the needed land,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the offer of Mrs. Elsie Spitzner to
sell approximately eight acres of land for $3,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee is hereby
authorized to complete the negotiations and the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to complete the sale in the name of the City.
