TO AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO
SET WEIGHT LIMITS ON MUNICIPAL STREETS IN
THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS it is necessary to set temporary weight limits
of weaknesses of the road bed due to climatic conditions
on municipal streets in the City of Muskego because
and,
WHEREAS such conditions could seriously damage or destroy
such road beds and
WHEREAS it is the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee to set a 5-ton temporary weight limit on all
municipal streets in the City of Muskego when conditions
warrant it,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Public Works
Committee to erect temporary .$ton weight limit signs on
any municipal street which because of weakness of the
road bed due to climatic or other conditions could be
seriously damaged or destroyed in the absence of such
special limitation.
