RECONSTRUCTION OF CROWBAR ROAD
a WHEREAS, the City of Muskegohas plans completed for the
reconstruction and relocation of a section of the Crowbar
Road lying in Section 7 and 18 and has funds set aside for the project.
WHEREAS, it would be of benefit to the City of Muskego
if the center segment of Crowbar Road could be reconstructed
from Field Drive South to Highway 24 at the same time the
new segment of road will be built.
WHEREAS, the State Sand & Gravel Company has offered in
return for permission to relocate a certain portion of the
balance of Crowbar Road lying north of the new location to
Crowbar Road, to reconstruct to City specification the
Field Drive at a cost not to exceed $5.00 per foot, or
approximately $~~,~oo.oo
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has determined that
this arrangement will save the City a considerable amount of
money .
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Public Works
Committee to enter into an agreement with the State Sand
and Gravel Company which would permit the reconstruction
and relocation of Crowbar Road from Field Drive to Highway
24 by the State Sand and Gravel Company at a cost to the
City of not more than $11,sOO .OO
BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED that the agreement must be in a form
which has been approved by the City Attorney.
