TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
1. Duration: January 1, 2011 – December 31, 2011
2. Article IV – Retirement Program
Notwithstanding the provisions of this Agreement, the parties agree that in the event state
law is amended to provide for mandated employee payment of the employee’s share of
the WRS pension contribution, that Unit employees will, in the same manner, and at the
same amount, begin making said contributions.
3. Article V – Wages and Benefits
a. No change from 2010 (freeze)
b. Section 5.04 - Delete
4. Article XI – Time Off for Funerals
a. 11.02: Remove verbiage regarding husband and wife.
b. 11.04 (New): “Subject to the approval of the Chief, if the employee believes that
additional bereavement days are necessary, that employee shall be allowed to take
reasonable sick for that purpose.”
6. Article XVII – Insurance
a. Contract language to remain the same.
b. Section 17.01 (B) – Change effective date to January 1, 2011
7. Article XXIII – Termination
Amend dates to reflect agreed upon duration.
