RESOLUTION #079-2011
APPROVAL OF FUNDING AGREEMENT AND WORK PLAN #2
FOR THE SANITARY SEWER BACKUP PREVENTION PROGRAM (BPP) AND
PRIVATE PROPERTY INFILTRATION AND INFLOW REDUCTION PROGRAM (PPII)
WHEREAS, On May 24, the Common Council approved a Private Property Inflow and
Infiltration (PPII) Reduction Policy and Grant Program and a Private Property Sanitary
Sewer Backup Prevention Policy (BPP) and Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, In order to implement these programs, the City must enter into the attached
Funding Agreement with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD); and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the Agreement and recommends
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the attached Funding Agreement between the City of Muskego and MMSD for the
Sanitary Sewer Backup Prevention Program and Private Property Infiltration and Inflow
Reduction Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to sign the agreement in the
name of the City.
