COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #074-2011
APPROVAL OF SIGNAGE FOR CITY HALL
POLICE DEPARTMENT SITE
WHEREAS, The approved 2011 Capital Budget included $25,000 for signage and
lighting for the City Hall/Police Department site; and
WHEREAS, It is proposed that the existing pole lights be refurbished by Public Works
staff in an effort to save money, which would be used for enhanced signage; and
WHEREAS, Several signage options have been obtained and staff recommends the
option that would include an electronic messaging sign; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the options and recommends the
expenditure of an amount not to exceed $33,000 for signage for the City Hall/Police
Department site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $33,000 for signage for the City Hall/Police
Department site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the unbudgeted amount money will be taken from
Capital Expenditure Surplus funds.
