COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #043-2011
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF 2011 PLOW TRUCK
AND ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The approved 2011 Operating Budget (Capital Outlay) includes funds for
the purchase of a plow truck for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, The following quotes were received:
Lakeside International, LLC $85,875.00
Packer City International Truck, Inc. $86,325.00
Capital City International, Inc. $87,995.32
WHEREAS, In addition to the above, additional equipment must be purchased from
Wausau-Everest for a total of $69,468; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed plow truck purchase
and has recommended acceptance of the quote from Lakeside International, LLC in the
amount of $85,875 and acceptance of the quote from Wausau-Everest in the amount of
$69,468 for a total of $155,343.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of a 2011 plow truck for the Public Works Department for a total cost of
$155,343.
