COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #042-2011
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF VAC ALL STREET SWEEPER
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The approved 2011 Capital Budget included $180,000 in funds for the
purchase of a Vac All Street Sweeper for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, The following quotes were received:
Lakeside International, LLC $218,975.00
Packer City International Truck, Inc. $219,419.00
Capital City International, Inc. $226,041.78
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed purchase and has
recommended acceptance of the quote from Lakeside International, LLC in the amount
of $218,975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of a Vac All Street Sweeper for the Public Works Department for a total
cost of $218,975.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the unbudgeted amount of $38,975 will be taken
from Capital Expenditure Surplus funds.
