COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #034-2011
AUTHORIZATION TO USE CDBG FUNDS
FOR THE MUSKEGO SENIOR TAXI SERVICE
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego is a participant in the Waukesha County
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and receives an allocation of funds to be
used over a three-year period; and
WHEREAS, The City has used funds from the CDBG Program for the Janesville Road
Building Grant and Loan Programs; and
WHEREAS, The City has received a request from the Muskego Senior Taxi Service for
$5,000 to offset operating costs; and
WHEREAS, The City will have money available from the CDBG Program that could be
provided to the Muskego Senior Taxi Service; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the request from the Muskego
Senior Taxi Service and has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize
the use of CDBG money in the amount of $5,000 for the Muskego Senior Taxi Service.
