CCR2011029-Combining Wards COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #029-2011 RESOLUTION COMBINING WARDS FOR ELECTION PURPOSES (SPRING SPECIAL ELECTION) WHEREAS, Section 5.15 (6) (b) of the Wisconsin Statutes provides that a municipality having a population of less than 35,000 may combine 2 or more wards for voting purposes to facilitate using a common polling place, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego, having a population of less than 35,000, and divided into a combination of 17 wards for election purposes pursuant to Resolution #155-2001 adopted by the governing body of the City of Muskego on August 14, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That for the Spring Special Election, to be held on May 3, 2011, wards in the City of Muskego shall be combined as follows: WARDS: 1 – 17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That combined wards 1-17 shall use a common voting machine, and returns shall be maintained only for the one combination of wards.
