RESOLUTION #082-2010
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND SALARY RANGE
AND TO AUTHORIZE FILLING THE POSITION OF
LIBRARY BUSINESS MANAGER/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, The Muskego Library has a vacant full-time library clerk position with the
retirement of an employee on July 2, 2010; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed filling the vacant position and
deferred action until a recommendation was provided by the Muskego Library Board;
and
WHEREAS, The Board has recommended that a Library Business Manager/Assistant
Director position be created and that action regarding the vacant library clerk position
be deferred at this time; and
WHEREAS, The City has an Assistant Library Director position that has not been filled
because of budget constraints; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the attached Job Description for the
Library Business Manager/Assistant Director position and has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the Job Description for the Library Business Manager/Assistant Director position and
authorizes the Library Director to fill the position.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the newly created Library Business
Manager/Assistant Director position will replace the existing Assistant Library Director
position.
