RESOLUTION # 047-2010
A RESOLUTION DISALLOWING THE CLAIM OF
KOHL’S DEPARTMENT STORES, INC. PURSUANT TO
WISCONSIN STATUTE §74.37, CONCERNING
PROPERTY KNOWN AS TAX KEY NO. MSKC 2167.995.008
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received a document from Kohl’s Department Stores, Inc.
which may be a claim pursuant to §74.37, Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the 2009 assessment for Kohl’s
Department Stores, Inc., tax key no. 2167.995.008, as determined by the City Assessor and
sustained by the 2009 Board of Review is correct; and
WHEREAS, the Board, upon review of this matter, is satisfied that there was not an “excessive
assessment” regarding the property in question.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby disallow the claim of Kohl’s Department Stores, Inc. against the City of Muskego as
provided by §74.37(3), Wisconsin Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this disallowance shall be sent to the claimant by
certified mail forthwith.
