COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #201-2008
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
TIMOTHY THOREN
WHEREAS, TIMOTHY THOREN, resident of the City of Muskego attained the rank
of Eagle Scout as a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 599; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to
the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, As a scout, TIM earned 38 merit badges and served in various
leadership positions within Troop 599. He was elected to the Order of the Arrow
completing his Ordeal and Brotherhood; and
WHEREAS, The Eagle Service Project that TIM completed was leading the troop
in the construction of more than 300 birdhouses for Faith’s Lodge in Webster,
Wisconsin. Faith’s Lodge is a retreat for families facing the serious illness or
death of a child; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his involvement with scouting, TIM also enjoys singing
and sports; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of TIMOTHY THOREN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend TIMOTHY THOREN for achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach
scouting’s highest honor.
