COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #200-2008
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
DAVID J. VITT
WHEREAS, DAVID VITT, resident of the City of Muskego attained the rank of
Eagle Scout as a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 599; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to
the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, As a scout, DAVID earned various merit badges and served in many
leadership positions within Troop 599. He currently serves as Junior Assistant
Scoutmaster; and
WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, DAVID improved the Lake Denoon Middle
School Cross Country Trail. The project included cutting down unwanted trees,
removing rocks, and installing a mile marker sign, observation bench and
message board to enhance the trail; and
WHEREAS, In addition to scouting, DAVID enjoys hunting, fishing and trap
shooting; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of DAVID VITT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend DAVID J. VITT for achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting’s
highest honor.
