COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #191-2008
AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRACT
FOR 2009
WHEREAS, The City’s consultant has explored alternative health insurance coverage in light of
the current provider, WPS, significantly increasing its costs and the exclusion of all Aurora
providers commencing in 2009; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the health care options for 2009 and has
recommended approval of a contract with Humana for health insurance coverage subject to the
consensus of the bargaining units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon
the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk-
Treasurer to execute the contract for health insurance for 2009 as follows:

Single Member $ 489.90
Limited Family $ 979.80
Family $1,518.68
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City believes this change will provide health care that is
equal to or greater than the existing benefits.
