RESOLUTION #188-2008
RE-APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF LARGE FORMAT
PRINTER/SCANNER/COPIER - PLANNING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The Common Council approved the purchase of a KIP 3100 Digital Print
System and Cannon iPF710 36” Color Printer for a total cost of $21,590 with the
adoption of Resolution #179-2008; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Department has learned that an improved and enhanced
version of the Cannon iPF710 printer is now available at an additional cost of $2,350;
and
WHEREAS, The Planning Department has requested approval to purchase the Cannon
iPF810 printer for an additional $2,350 as it believes the newer equipment would better
serve the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval of the purchase as
requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of a KIP 3100 Digital Print System and Cannon iPF810 36” Color Printer
for a total cost of $23,940.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That money for the purchase will be taken from the GIS
Special Revenue Account.
