RESOLUTION #179-2008
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF LARGE FORMAT
PRINTER/SCANNER/COPIER - PLANNING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The existing large format printer in the Planning Department is currently
nonfunctional and was scheduled for replacement in 2009; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Department has requested approval to purchase a new
printer to meet the large format document processing needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Department completed extensive research on various
options and has requested approval to purchase a KIP 3100 Digital Print System and
Cannon iPF710 36” Color Printer for a total cost of $21,590 from BPI-Blueprints, Inc.;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval of the purchase as
requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of the equipment identified above from BPI-Blueprints, Inc. at a cost of
$21,590.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That money for the purchase will be taken from the GIS
Special Revenue Account.
