CCR2008176-MVFC Vehicle DEFEATED -- 10/28/2008 COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #176-2008 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE USE OF FUNDS FROM THE 2008 MUSKEGO VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE PURCHASE OF A VEHICLE WHEREAS, The Muskego Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC) has submitted a request to purchase a vehicle to be used for fire inspections for an amount not to exceed $20,000; and WHEREAS, The purchase of the vehicle is not in the 2008 Muskego Volunteer Fire Company operating budget; however, there are remaining funds in the fire company budget that could be used for the purchase; and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the request and has recommended approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the use of funds from the 2008 Muskego Volunteer Fire Company operating budget for the purchase of a vehicle. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the approval is based on the actual cost of the vehicle supported by an invoice submitted by the MVFC for an amount not to exceed $20,000. DATED THIS DAY OF , 2008.
