COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #168-2008
HONORING MUSKEGO AFS-USA STUDENT
ANNE SOFIE VAHLGREEN
WHEREAS, For many years local citizens have given generously of their
time and efforts to maintain the American Field Service Program (AFS) in
Muskego; and
WHEREAS, It is the aim of the AFS Program to promote understanding,
friendship, and knowledge between the people of the world by arranging an
interchange of students between the United States and other countries; and
WHEREAS, This year Muskego is privileged to have as one of its AFS
students, ANNE SOFIE VAHLGREEN from Denmark; and
WHEREAS, ANNE SOFIE VAHLGREEN exemplifies the purpose of the AFS
program in Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby honor ANNE SOFIE VAHLGREEN as
Muskego's 2008 - 2009 AFS student and extends to her an invitation to
return to our City again.
