RESOLUTION #163-2008
AWARD OF BID
Little Muskego Lake Dam Rehabilitation
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for rehabilitation of the Little Muskego Lake Dam, and
the following bids were received:
Contractor Base Bid
Great Lakes Marine $48,900.00
Native Construction & Landscaping $51,900.00
United Construction, Inc. $39,143.00
Martin Petersen Company, Inc. $42,500.00
WHEREAS, The City Engineer and Ruekert/Mielke have reviewed the bids and recommend
the bid submitted by United Construction, Inc. in the amount of $39,143 be accepted for the
Little Muskego Lake Dam Rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and recommend the bid submitted
by United Construction, Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid of United
Construction, Inc. in the total amount of $39,143 for the Little Muskego Lake Dam
Rehabilitation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor or his designee is authorized to sign any
changes at his discretion upon recommendation of Ruekert/Mielke or the City Engineer.
