RESOLUTION #151-2008
A RESOLUTION DISALLOWING THE CLAIM OF
STEPHEN R. GODFREY PURSUANT TO
WISCONSIN STATUTE §74.37, CONCERNING
PROPERTY KNOWN AS TAX KEY NO. MSKC 2270.998
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received a document from Stephen R. Godfrey
which may be a claim pursuant to §74.37, Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the claim is in violation of the statutory requirements found in Wisconsin
Statute §74.37(2)(b)2 and 4 in that it does not state the alleged circumstances giving
rise to the claim and is only signed by one of the property owners; and
WHEREAS, the Board, upon review of this matter, is satisfied that there was not an
“excessive assessment” regarding the property in question.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby disallow the claim of Stephen R. Godfrey against the City of
Muskego as provided by §74.37(3), Wisconsin Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this disallowance shall be sent to the
claimant by certified mail forthwith.
