COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #132-2008
RESOLUTION APPOINTING CITY ENGINEER/
COORDINATOR OF PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS AND
ESTABLISHING TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
WHEREAS, David Simpson has been selected to fill the position of City
Engineer/Coordinator of Public Works Projects by the Committee members appointed
by the Mayor for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council is required to approve such appointment; and
WHEREAS, The 2008 biweekly starting salary will be $2,692.31, with a biweekly salary
to be raised to $2,788.46 on December 31, 2008 contingent on a positive evaluation,
with benefits for the position, as established for Nonrepresented Employees; and
WHEREAS, The employee will be allowed 15 days of vacation the first year and then
be allowed to accrue additional days of vacation, consistent with the City of Muskego
vacation days policy, as if the individual has worked in the City for a five-year period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby confirm the appointment of David Simpson to fill the position of
City Engineer/Coordinator of Public Works Projects effective July 14, 2008.
