COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #096-2008
APPROVE PURCHASE OF ROADSIDE MOWER TRACTOR
(Department of Public Works)
WHEREAS, The approved 2008 budget included the purchase of a four-wheel drive
roadside mower tractor for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, The following quotes were received:
Proven Power $44,316
Otter Sales & Service, Inc. $43,546
WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee and Finance Committee have reviewed the
proposed purchase and have recommended acceptance of the quote from Proven
Power in the amount of $44,316 because the quote submitted by Otter Sales & Service
did not meet the required specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of a roadside mower tractor for the Department of Public Works for
$44,316 from Proven Power.
