RESOLUTION #073-2008
RECOGNITION OF 35 YEARS OF SERVICE
PHILLIP DIBB– TESS CORNERS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Phillip Dibb began his service with the City of Muskego on May 1, 1973 at the
Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, in June, 1976 Phillip earned his certification as an Emergency Medical
Technician; and
WHEREAS, Phillip was elected Chief for Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department from 1988
- 1990; and
WHEREAS, Phillip has served on various Fire Department Committees; and
WHEREAS, Phillip is serving on the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department Board of
Directors as Vice-chairman; and
WHEREAS, Phillip credits the immense support and encouragement of his family members
for achieving this thirty-five year milestone of service to the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, service to the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department runs in Phillip Dibbs’
family – his father was a firefighter, who recently retired, His brother Mark served, his
daughter Michelle is serving on the rescue side and his son Steven is serving on the fire side;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego appreciates the efforts of volunteers such as, Phillip Dibb
who have pride in serving the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby recognize PHILLIP DIBB for his knowledge, dedication and service, which span
thirty-five years.
